Former UFC fighter Grishin will fight Bakytzhanuly at the RCC tournament in December

Russian light heavyweight Maxim Grishin will fight against Asyljana Bakytjanouly of Kazakhstan at the RCC 17 tournament in Yekaterinburg on December 15, according to a press release from the tournament organizers.

Grishin (32-10-2) has been competing in American promotions since 2018. In the UFC, he had five fights, winning two and suffering three defeats. In June, the Russian lost to Brazilian Filipe Lins by unanimous decision.

Bakytzhanuly’s record includes 16 fights, 13 victories and three defeats. He fought four fights in the RCC promotion, including against Ivan Shtyrkov.

Additionally, the tournament card will include a rematch between Serbian Aleksandar Ilic (15-5-0) and Russian Alexander Shlemenko (62-15-0).
