The Florida Boxing License Commission has issued a temporary ban while the investigation continues.
Mexican welterweight boxer Rodolfo Orozco suspended by the Florida Boxing License Commission due to a positive drug test.
It is reported that the Mexican passed positive tests after the fight with the Briton Conor Benn. The investigation continues; employees of the Commission and the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) do not disclose details of the case. During the investigation, Orozco is prohibited from taking part in combat in the United States.
Benn defeated the Mexican boxer in September by unanimous decision. For the Mexican, the defeat was the fourth in his professional career.
Note that Conor Benn himself was acquitted of doping charges in July. The Briton intends to have his next fight in February.
