Athletistic/MMA. UFC lightweight champion Russian mixed martial artist Islam Makhachev has shared his plans for 2024, expressing his intention to hold three fights, including one at the start of the year.

“I’m pretty much planning to fight before Ramadan starts. I’ve already informed the UFC that I’m ready to fight before Ramadan. I would like to have three fights in 2024. I will train as much as possible, keep myself in shape and wait for a call from management,” Makhachev said in an interview with Match TV.

Remember that Ramadan 2024 will begin on March 10 and end on April 9. Makhachev’s last UFC fight was against Alexander Volkanovski in October 2023, which Makhachev won by first-round knockout.
