The former legendary American boxer made his prediction for the fight for the title of absolute champion.
Tyson Fury will beat Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed title because a good big fighter can beat a good small fighter. This is what former legendary boxer Roy Jones thinks.
The American, himself an undisputed champion, also urged not to compare Fury’s fights against Usyk and Ngannou.
“People didn’t see Ngannou as a threat because he’s not a boxer, more of a 10-round fighter. Fury knows Usyk is a threat and he’s going to fight him very differently to how he fought Ngannou.”
It was a case of a great fighter defeating a great little fighter. However, Usyk, through Ngannou, will be more confident of his victory. Before the Ngannou fight, I expected Fury to win, but now it’s more difficult for him because of his last fight.
If you look at history, Fury will be high on the list of the greatest fighters of all time because no one has beaten Usyk,” Jones said as quoted by British Boxing News.
We remind you that Usik and Fury are scheduled to fight in the ring for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion on February 17 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, the famous British super heavyweight Derek Chisora uses, has said that he knows the secret to defeating Alexander Usyk.
