Russian UFC fighter Petr Yan announced plans to change his team roster

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion, Russian Pierre Yan said he would like to make changes to his team’s lineup.

Yang won the UFC bantamweight title in 2020 by defeating Brazilian Jose Aldo. In his last three fights, the 30-year-old Russian lost to Americans Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley, as well as Georgian Merab Dvalishvili.

“I have to try to somehow modernize my training camp, my coaching staff. Change something, introduce something new, fix something. I will try to do this so you can see some changes in the future. The people, the sparring partners, the technical staff, the team, that’s the most important thing. We need to create a new coaching team, or rather form one. The team I will prepare with, who will be with me in the arena,” Yan quotes MMA Mania.

Yang has 16 wins and five losses during his MMA career. Previously, the fighter said that he would like to participate in the UFC tournament in March.
