Athletistic/ MMA. Hollywood actor Chris Pratt has apologized to Nigerian-born New Zealand fighter Israel Adesanya for criticizing his performance at UFC 276.
“You’re right. I’m sorry, brother. It annoys me when people criticize my work, because they themselves have never risked anything. Criticism from me makes me a hypocrite. My fault. Remain a champion”, wrote Pratt in one of the social networks.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star has previously said he’s not a fan of Adesanya because a fighter talks a lot before his fights, and during fights he only gets away with “light tapping”. Adesanya responded to those criticisms with a playful video – a scene from the movie “Wanted”, in which Chris Pratt’s character is punched in the face with a keyboard.
At UFC 276, Israel Adesanya fought American Jared Cannonier, whom he defeated by unanimous decision, defending the UFC middleweight title for the fifth time.
