Krasyuk: Usyk’s fight with Wilder is worth organizing and watching, but it’s too early to talk about it

The promoter assessed potential opponents after the fight with Fury

Alexander Krasyukpromoter of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Alexandra Usikasaid that he would like to organize a fight between a Ukrainian and a former world champion Deontay Wilder after the fight with Tyson Fury.

“Now is not the right time to talk about this. I can tell you that Deontay Wilder is one of the top three heavyweights in the world. Of course, fighting him is something to do and watch for me as a boxing fan. Of course it will be a great fight, so we’ll see.”

“But from the point of view of Usik’s career, it depends on how the fight with Tyson goes; the rematch will also take time. Secondly, let’s not forget Wilder and Anthony Joshua on December 23rd.”

Usik will fight with Tyson Fury for the title of absolute heavyweight champion. The fight will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the event was planned to be organized on December 23. However, it later became clear that the “Gypsy King” would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua will hold a joint boxing evening on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Deontay will fight Joseph Parker, and AJ will fight Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin. The event is expected to bring closer the conclusion of a contract for the fight between the two former champions.
