The fight will take place on December 2 in Houston.
American boxer Ryan Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs) showed almost the same weight as the Mexican Oscar Duarte (26-1-1, 21 KO) before their fight together.
Garcia tipped the scales at 143 pounds (64.86 kilograms). Duarte recorded a weight of 142.8 pounds (64.77 kilograms). For both fighters, these are the largest weights of their careers.
The fight between Garcia and Duarte will take place in Houston, America on Saturday, December 2. The 12-round bout is scheduled to take place in the junior welterweight division.
This will be Garcia’s first fight since his loss to Gervonta Davis. Duarte will fight his third fight in 2023. Prior to this, the Mexican defeated D’Angelo Keys by knockout in the seventh round.
