Ex-trainer of David Haye: Joshua has a better chance of beating Fury than Usyk

However, Adam Booth believes “The Gypsy King” will defeat Alexander and A.J.

Famous trainer Adam Boothwho previously worked with former heavyweight world champion David Haye, believes that Anthony Joshua will have a better chance in a fight with Tyson Furyhow Alexander Usik.

“Can Joshua win the world heavyweight title again? Absolutely. He must beat either Oleksandr Usyk or Tyson Fury. I don’t think he will beat Usyk, that Usyk will be in boxing long enough to weaken his skills and give Joshua the opportunity to beat the worst version of him.”

“Now you put Tyson Fury against AJ and I think Anthony has a better chance in this fight than Usyk. I would favor Tyson because of his reach, which means Joshua can be caught with a jab. In these situations, AJ needs time to recover, he’s not used to being outboxed with jabs.”

“Given the fact that Tyson will reach Joshua in an inconvenient way, I give preference to Fury.” But any heavyweight who hits hard always has a chance to win.”

Usik will fight with Tyson Fury for the title of absolute heavyweight champion. The fight will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the event was planned to be organized on December 23. However, it later became clear that the “Gypsy King” would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Joshua is preparing for a fight with Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin. A joint boxing evening with AJ and Deontay Wilder will take place on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event is expected to bring closer the signing of a contract for a fight between two former world champions.
