Deputy General Director of Gazprom-Media Holding Tina Kandelaki said she wouldn’t be surprised by a fight between former UFC champion in two weight classes, Irishman Conor McGregor and Javier Miley, who won Argentina’s presidential election in November.
On Monday, McGregor, 35, hinted on social media that he intended to run for the Irish presidency.
– What a year, the presidents too. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw a fight between Conor and the Argentine president. They are on the exact same wavelength of deviant behavior. Would you like to witness such a fight? — Kandelaki wrote on the Telegram channel .
McGregor has 22 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts; the Irishman previously held the UFC championship belts in both the featherweight and lightweight categories. He fought his last fight in July 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout.
