Former world champion Brook: We all want Fury to beat Usik

The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh

Former world welterweight champion Kell Brook commented on the upcoming fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between the holder of the WBC belt Tyson Fury and WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Alexander Usik.

“This is the biggest and best fight you can imagine. The best fights against the best. I have Fury as the winner in this fight. We all want the Gypsy King to go through his opponent,” Brook said.

The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the fight was planned to be organized on December 23 in Riyadh. However, it later became clear that the “Gypsy King” would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.

Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.
