The former world boxing champion has no plans to hang up his gloves just yet.
Deontay Wilder has no plans to end his boxing career anytime soon. Moreover, the former world champion said that at 38 years old he still considers himself young.
The American is still feeling strong and doesn’t mind hanging up his gloves.
“I’m young, still young. I just turned 38, but we have to understand that I started very late. I started when I was 21, so I don’t have much damage. I’m still sexy, very I. speak properly and conduct business properly. I have more than enough strength. At the same time, I have been gifted with experience.
I think of all the fighters who started so young and got to where they were burned out. I look at some of my fellow Olympians and think, damn, they’ve been doing this for so long they’ve burned out. But in our business this is not allowed. But I didn’t burn out because of how I started and where I am now.
