Georgian UFC bantamweight fighter Merab Dvalishvili accepted a fight with the American Henry Cejudo said MMA Fighting reporter Damon Martin on social media.
As reported, Cejudo will be Dvalishvili’s next opponent, who is awaiting confirmation of the fight date.
In his last fight in March, Dvalishvili defeated Russian Petr Yan by unanimous decision. The 32-year-old Georgian is ranked second in the UFC rankings in his division. In total, he has achieved 16 victories in mixed martial arts and suffered four defeats.
Cejudo is 36 years old; in MMA, he won 16 fights and lost three. In May, the American was defeated by compatriot Aljamain Sterling in the title fight.
