British functionary Eddie Hearn is confident that the fighters will take another fight for big money.
Eddie Hearn has expressed confidence that WBC champion Tyson Fury and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou have agreed to a rematch.
According to the famous promoter, the event should be expected, as it will bring a lot of money to both fighters. The functionary even named an approximate date – the end of 2024.
“It’s worth waiting for the Fury-Ngannou rematch. Obviously, they have agreed. If I were Francis, I would only consider fights against Fury, Joshua or Wilder. Also, after the first fight with Tyson, he felt that he could win So, there’s no point if he fights someone else, he can only really lose to anyone in the top 50 of the heavyweight division, so he has to work at this point.
He only had three fights to earn the money he wanted. Will fight in the PFL and then face Fury later next year. That’s their team strategy,” Hearn told BoxingScene.
