Athletistic/MMA. French UFC fighter Benoit Saint-Denis has accused Russian athletes of using banned drugs. Earlier, we learned of the 6-month disqualification of Bellator champion Usman Nurmagomedov for a positive doping test.

“This applies to the entire Nurmagomedov family. I have no doubts about them, they are pumped up like mules. They dope smartly, they understand such things. Makhachev, for example, was caught with meldonium, because of which Russia was suspended from the 2016 Olympics. And this was done by the UFC champion!

The problem is that the UFC is an American organization that has a different attitude towards doping. Many athletes take six months off when they are not tested.

Faith saves me from doping. For me, doping is unacceptable. I want to be able to look myself in the eye at the end of my career and honestly admit that I have always acted cleanly,” Saint-Denis said in an interview with Le Figaro.
