Georgian bantamweight fighter Merab Dvalishvili will fight with the promotion’s former champion in two weight classes, an American Henry Cejudo at UFC 298.
The tournament will take place on February 17 in Anaheim (USA). The main event of the evening will be the featherweight title fight between Australian Alexander Volkanovski and Georgian representative Ilia Topuria.
In his last fight in March, Dvalishvili defeated Russian Petr Yan by unanimous decision. In total, the 32-year-old fighter has won 16 victories and suffered four defeats in mixed martial arts.
Cejudo is 36 years old; in MMA, he won 16 fights and lost three. In May, the American was defeated by compatriot Aljamain Sterling in the title fight.
