The International Judo Federation (IJF) has announced that the 2024 World Championships will be hosted in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The tournament will be the last major qualifying competition for the Paris Olympic Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Russian judokas participate in tournaments under the auspices of the IJF in neutral status.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced last week that it would grant neutral status to Russian and Belarusian athletes who successfully qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Russian athletes will be able to perform in Paris without a flag , anthem and other national symbols. The IOC banned the participation of athletes associated with security forces or who had expressed support for the SVO.
