Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Shlemenko took revenge on the Serb Alexandra Ilic in the main match of the RCC 17 tournament, which took place on Friday in Yekaterinburg.
The 39-year-old Russian won by technical knockout in the first round. The first fight between Shlemenko and Ilic took place in August 2022 and ended in 22 seconds with the Serbian fighter’s victory by technical knockout.
Former Bellator middleweight champion Shlemenko has 63 wins, 15 losses and one draw in MMA. The professional record of Ilic, 34, is 15 wins and 6 losses.
Earlier, as part of the main card of RCC 17, Russian Alexey Oleinik won, who defeated Brazilian Fernando Rodriguez by strangulation in the second round. For the 46-year-old fighter, this fight was the first under MMA rules since October 1, 2022.
