Athletistic/MMA. Legendary mixed martial arts fighter Jeff Monson spoke about the process of renouncing US citizenship. In 2023, he only keeps his Russian passport.
“In May, I flew to the American embassy in Istanbul. There I filled out the documents to renounce citizenship, paid the fee and already managed to forget about it, because the whole procedure was delayed. As far as I know, it takes about two months, but in my case it worked more. On December 15, I learned that I am no longer an American citizen,” said Monson according to TASS.
Jeff Monson is a two-time ADCC World Championship Submission Wrestling winner, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, and former UFC heavyweight title challenger. In 2018, he became a deputy of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnogorsk Urban District from the United Russia party.
