Fiziev knocked out dos Anjos in the main event at UFC Vegas 39

The UFC Vegas 39 mixed martial arts tournament took place in Las Vegas (USA). Raphael Fiziev from Azerbaijan.

The battle proceeded at a calm pace. However, in the fifth round, the Brazilian missed a hand-to-jaw side kick. Dos Anjos was on the ground, and after a few final touches, the referee stopped the game.

For Fiziev, this is the 12th victory of his career with only one loss. Dos Anjos lost for the 14th time.

In the co-main event of the tournament, a Russian mixed martial arts fighter of Armenian descent Armen Petrosyan lost to Brazilian Caio Borrallo by unanimous decision.
