The promoter assessed the Ukrainian’s chances against the WBA champion in three weight categories
Promoter Bob Arum assessed the chances of the former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko against the WBA champion in three divisions Gervonta Davis. Arum also believes that Tank will win Shakur Stevenson And Teofimo Lopez.
“I think all three of them will beat Davis, I really believe that. I think Shakur will beat him, I think Teofimo will beat him, and I think Lomachenko will beat him,” the promoter replied.
Arum previously said that Lomachenko will fight George Kambosos for the vacant IBF lightweight championship in April 2024 in Australia. According to preliminary data, the fight is scheduled for April 14, 2024 and will take place in Perth.
At the end of November, former undisputed lightweight world champion Devin Haney vacated the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight championship belts. The vacant IBF title will be played between George Kambosos and Vasiliy Lomachenko, the organization’s two top contenders. His manager Egis Klimas previously hinted that Vasily’s next fight will be a title fight.
