Kabutov defeat and Suleymanov victory – ONE Friday Fights 45 results

Sherzod Kabutov vs. Yaruidsak (Muay Thai)

At flyweight, Muay Thai Yaruidsak earned his first victory by a narrow margin against Kyrgyzstan’s Sherzod “Lev” Kabutov.

In the first round, 24-year-old Kabutov confidently parried his opponent’s punches with heavy boxing combinations, while the Thai athlete was precise with his direct punches. In the second round, Yaruidsak began to throw straight punches with his left hand more often and landed several hard elbows, but Kabutov stayed on his feet and counterattacked with his hands. By the third round, both fighters were on equal footing and successfully exchanged blows. A left jab from Yaruidsak knocked Kabutov’s head far back, to which he responded with counter punches and offensive roundhouse kicks.

After three rounds, two judges gave Yaruidsak the victory by split decision, increasing his record to 76-5-10.

Suleiman Suleymanov vs. Nursultan Toktorov (MMA)

Suleiman Suleymanov managed to maintain a clean record by defeating an opponent from Kyrgyzstan in the second round of the fight according to MMA rules in the ONE featherweight division (70.3 kg). In the first round, the Azerbaijani athlete, who trains at Anatoly Malykhin’s Dobrynya gymnasium, found himself in many dangerous situations. He had to take blows to the shins and calves, as well as direct blows from Totorov, before he was able to find an opening in his opponent’s work.

However, Suleymanov’s determination paid off within 12 seconds of the second round: he took advantage of Toktorov’s takedown attempt, guillotined his opponent and won by submission.

The first victory in ONE brought Suleymanov’s record to 10-0, and Toktorov experienced the bitterness of defeat for the first time in his professional career.

At the beginning of the fight according to the rules of Muay Thai in the ONE bantamweight division (61.3 kg), Thai fighter Otop knocked down Sen, to which he practically did not react, immediately entering into a difficult exchange with his opponent . With a powerful punch to the jaw, he sent Otop to the canvas. The Thai fighter was unable to get up and the victory was awarded to Sen at 1:47 of the first round.
