Athletistic/MMA. The UFC Vegas 58 tournament takes place in Las Vegas. Brazilian Douglas Silva de Andrade and Russian Said Nurmagomedov faced off in the lightweight division. Both had a two-game winning streak before this fight.
Both also received bonuses after the fight. Andrade won Fight of the Night by beating Sergey Morozov in February, while Nurmagomedov won the Performance of the Night award for his January fight against Cody Stamann.

In the first round, Andrade landed a hard kick to Nurmagomedov, who attempted a roundhouse kick but missed the mark. Then Said landed a powerful blow, resulting in the Brazilian getting a cut just above his left eye. Andrade wanted to close the distance and try to take the fight to the ground, but Nurmagomedov was able to contain him with punches.

In round two, Nurmagomedov landed all the shots he wanted. Andrade tried to get closer, but he paid the price every time. Nurmagomedov was too quick and precise. In round three, Nurmagomedov also looked confident and calmly led the way to victory.

Official result: Said Nurmagomedov won by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
