The Puerto Rican record holder will defend her titles against Nina Meinke
A big boxing evening has been officially announced in Puerto Rico, which will take place on March 2, 2024 in San Juan. Its headliners will be a famous YouTube blogger Jake Paul (8-1, 5 KOs) and undisputed featherweight champion Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs).
26-year-old Jake will have his tenth fight in professional boxing. Let us remind you that on December 16, as part of a boxing evening in Orlando (USA), he knocked out professional boxer Andre August in the first round.
Serrano will defend her IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO featherweight titles against Germany’s Nina Meincke (18-3, 4 KOs), an IBF mandatory challenger.
In October, Serrano defended her WBA, IBF and WBO featherweight titles against Brazilian Ramos. The unprecedented fight consisted of 12 rounds of three minutes each. Previously, women’s championship bouts were limited to ten two-minute rounds.
In early December, Amanda vacated her WBC title because the sanctioning organization did not support women’s 12×3 fights.
35-year-old Serrano is a record holder in professional boxing, she is the only woman to become a champion in seven weight categories.
