Both former world boxing champions are confident of winning their next fights.
Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua are getting closer to a head-to-head fight. According to Dan Rafael, the former world boxing champions have agreed to hold two fights.
Contracts are expected to be signed before the boxers enter the ring on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.
All points of agreement, including financial issues, were agreed a week ago. The teams do not talk to each other, but to the organizers of the Riyadh Season, which caters to major events in Saudi Arabia.
It has now been noted that the Joshua-Wilder fight will depend on whether Deontay wins against Joseph Parker, and Anthony wins against Otto Wallin.
Note that Wilder has already commented on a possible fight with Joshua. The American promised to knock out his opponent.
“I’m going to knock Joshua out. I’m going to do what I should have done years ago. I’m going to do what they’re running for. I’m going to do what Joshua asked for $50 million. I’m going to give him a knockout worth $50 million,” Deontay told Queensberry Promotions’ Frank Warren.
Let’s remember that Wilder has previously named his main goal in his career.
