Russian boxer Dmitri Bivol defeated Briton Lyndon Arthur and defended the WBA world light heavyweight title, and also won the International Boxing Organization (IBO) championship belt.
The fight between Bivol and Arthur took place on Saturday in Riyadh and lasted all 12 rounds. Bivol won by unanimous decision (120 – 107 – all three judges).
Bivol is 33 years old, undefeated boxer with 22 victories including 11 by knockout. For the Russian, this fight was the first in 2023. Arthur, 32, now has two defeats and 23 victories (16 KO).
