The “Gypsy King” almost lost to the former UFC champion
WBO interim heavyweight belt holder Zhang Zhilei spoke about the unification fight between Alexander Usik And Tyson Fury. The Chinese heavyweight noted that the “Gypsy King” may experience difficulties in a fight with the Ukrainian.
“If Fury fights [с Усиком] just like he fought Ngannou, it will be a very long and difficult night for Tyson,” Zhang said.
Let’s remember that Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision in October. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.
The fight between WBC heavyweight title holder Fury and WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Usyk will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Zhilei in his last fight defeated Joe Joyce in a rematch, knocking out the Briton in the third round. After the fight, Zhang challenged Fury and Usyk to a fight in turn.
