Former boxing legend believes AJ had a duty to beat Otto Wallin
Legendary former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis commented on the victory of the ex-champion in heavyweight Anthony Joshua over the Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin.
“I can’t judge from this fight whether he’s back or not. He definitely looked good, did what he had to do. To beat a guy I’ve beaten before in the amateurs.”
“Wallin had no definition in his body. I don’t know if he worked hard or what he did in training camp or anything like that. And I didn’t see him throw any serious punches because AJ looked good after the fight, like a movie star, like he wasn’t even in the fight.”
“So I think the fight is good for Anthony’s mental state. Everyone says, “He’s back,” but there’s still a long way to go. He has yet to face Fury. Zhang Zhilei from China would also be a great opponent.”
On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Joshua confidently defeated Otto Wallin, who refused to continue the fight after the 5th round, as part of the “Day of Reckoning”. Anthony stated that he was ready to fight his next fight with anyone.
