The British boxer made a successful comeback after his loss to Alexander Usik and plans to return to the championship fight.

Daniel Dubois is back and now has some big fights next year. This is what Frank Warren, the promoter of the British heavyweight, said.

The functionary admitted that it was difficult for his ward after the defeat from Alexander Usik, but the victory over the American Miller became a kind of atonement for the early defeat from the Ukrainian.

“He’s back in the big game. Now we’re looking at some big fights next year. He can have a good Christmas break because remember he’s had back-to-back training camps for big fights. Obviously the first was for the title world champion, and this one is a kind of redemption, he has to work hard.

It’s a very tough fight against a competitive guy who is very smart and can hit. I mean, Miller dropped some bombs on him that he usually uses to kill his opponents. Daniel persevered – in the end he obviously went ahead and did what he had to do.

In my opinion, he proved all the doubters wrong. He did what he had to do because he had to prove it. He had to dig deep against a guy who was generally thought to be beaten. So hats off, he did his job,” Warren was quoted as saying by Boxing Scene.

Let’s remember that earlier Joe Joyce offered revenge on Daniel Dubois.
