Russian MMA fighter, former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko called Magomed Ismailova sign a contract for a rematch.
The rivals had their first fight in Yekaterinburg on December 3, 2022; after a five-round confrontation, Ismailov became the winner by unanimous decision.

Currently, 39-year-old Shlemenko’s MMA statistics are 62 wins, 15 losses, one draw and one fight declared invalid, while 37-year-old Ismailov has a record of 18-3-1.
