Don’t want to watch a rematch of the WBC and WBO world champion in the second featherweight division.

Shakur Stevenson doesn’t want to watch the rematch between Devin Haney and George Kambosos. The owner of the WBC and WBO titles in the second featherweight division recounted this in an interview with boxingnews24.com.

In his opinion, nothing will change in the second match of the Australian and American. The fight will be one-sided and will end again with Haney winning. Instead, according to Stevenson, Devin will need to enter the ring against Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko.

“I heard Lomachenko say he wanted to win the belts. I hope Haney’s team finds some clause in the contract that will allow them to avoid a rematch with Kambosos. No one wants to watch this match again. I don’t agree with people who say, that Devin gave a boring performance, that’s not true, I really enjoyed the fight.

One side is against it. Who wants to sit back and watch a match if they know that if Devin is in the ring again, nothing will change? Kambosos can do nothing else. He is what he is. Kambosos fought the way he fought. He also fought Lopez, but it worked on Theo, but not on Devin.

I don’t want to watch a rematch. I think it’s easy for Devin to dominate him again. Probably this time he will stop at Kambosos. So Haney could act boldly, really get his hands on it and get him out. I think Devin should fight Lomachenko and let me fight anyone, ”Stevenson said.
