UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev said he was ready to organize the next fight in March or after Ramadan, which will take place from March 22 to April 21.
In 2023, 32-year-old Makhachev made two successful defenses of his title in fights with Australian Alexander Volkanovski, and also rose to first place in the ranking of the best UFC fighters, regardless of category weight.
“I am ready to defeat someone in March or see you again after Ramadan,” Makhachev wrote on the social network X.
Makhachev’s professional record is 25 wins and losses. He is also a double Russian champion (2014, 2016) and winner of the combat sambo world championship (2016).
