Pavlovich is currently ranked third in the UFC heavyweight rankings, behind Britain’s Tom Aspinall and France’s Cyril Hahn. In his last fight, Pavlovich lost to Aspinall in the first round for the UFC interim heavyweight belt in November. This ended the 31-year-old Russian’s six-fight winning streak in the first round; in total, he has 18 victories and two defeats in MMA.
