Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor promised to announce the name of his next opponent on January 1st.
“I will announce the date of my fight and that of my opponent on the first day of the new year,” the Irishman wrote on the social network.
McGregor fought his last fight in July 2021 against American Dustin Poirier and lost by technical knockout, suffering from a broken leg. In total, McGregor has won 22 victories and suffered six defeats in mixed martial arts.
