Former double UFC champion and world star in the combat universe, the Irishman, Conor McGregor, announced his return to an organization card. The revelation was made last Sunday, 31st, confirming another fight against michael chandleron June 29th, but surprising in the category chosen for the fight.

According to ‘Notorious’ himself, the fight will take place in the middleweight category, which is impressive given the fighter’s track record. Previously in his career, McGregor used to fight between featherweight and lightweight, which means he will need to gain 14 kg more than in his last UFC fight.

In fact, the Irishman’s last appearance in a UFC octagon was in 2021 when he lost two fights in a row to Dustin Poirier, in January and July of the year mentioned. After that, he performed in boxing matches, but without the same sporting success as in the past.
