American boxer Jarrell Miller has another serious problem with the law in his home town.
Jarrell Miller, who had previously been caught repeatedly for doping, found himself in another embarrassing story. Moreover, this time the American representative of the heavyweight division is at risk of imprisonment.
As reported by BoxingScene in connection with WSVN-7, the 35-year-old boxer was arrested for assaulting a car dealership employee and stealing a car.
Miller was taken into custody by police after the athlete allegedly stole a black Dodge Ram pickup truck from the Haims Motors dealership in Hollywood. The boxer has an accomplice. He was the one who said he left his phone in the car, which the salon had previously confiscated. When the employee walked him to the car, the boxer grabbed the man from behind, threw him to the ground, took the keys and drove him into a pickup truck.
However, the police quickly caught Miller because a tracker was installed on the car. As of Wednesday night, January 3, the boxer remained in custody. He can make bail of $30,000.
Let’s remember that in his last fight on December 23 in Saudi Arabia, Miller suffered an early defeat from Daniel Dubois seconds before the final gong, which became the first for the American in his professional career.
Earlier, the promoter shared Dubois’ plans for next year.
