Joseph intends to explore all options that suit him
David Higginspromoter of former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (34-3, 23 KOs), said that his ward is studying three options for the next fight – Filip Hrgovic, Zhang Zhilei or Andy Ruiz.
“I don’t think Joseph should step back. He looked good against a good opponent. He has good momentum, so I think any of them – Hrgovic, Zhilei or Ruiz, any of them, if he has the money, would be interesting. Parker doesn’t want to back down.”
At the end of December, Parker fought as part of the “Day of Reckoning” boxing evening in Riyadh. Joseph defeated Deontay Wilder by unanimous decision.
Higgins previously reported on Joseph’s possible fight with Anthony Joshua. The manager actively lobbies all candidates for his ward.
