1600 objects from the collection in honor of Muhammad Ali are exhibited during the action. Among the prizes is the boxer’s championship belt

American collector Troy Kinunen has announced that he is auctioning 1,600 items related to legendary boxer Muhammad Ali.

As noted by Kinunen, he has been collecting this collection for over three decades.

“It’s a very important collection. I keep it in my own house, it’s not fair to the world. He was the people’s champion and loved by millions. I came to the conclusion that I really should not leave the collection with me, — quotes the words of collector NBC 5 Dallas.

One of the items included in the auction is Muhammad Ali’s 1970s WBC heavyweight championship belt, won by Ali for his victory over George Foreman. At the time of the news, the belt was valued at $125,000.

The auction will take place from July 21 to 23, although the auction is already open.

Muhammad Ali died in 2016 at the age of 74.
