Usyk said how much money he collected through a charity auction

The Ukrainian world heavyweight champion got huge amounts for the victims of the war.

Ukrainian world boxing champion in the heavyweight division Oleksandr Usyk was able to raise a huge amount through a charity auction. It will be recalled that the auction took place at the London restaurant City Social was held in June.

However, only now has Usyk made public the amount he managed to raise to help Ukrainians who suffered from the war. As it happened, the athlete was able to lift nearly 100 thousand pounds.

“Friends of Ukrainians raised £ 97,273 in an exclusive fundraising night at City Social London.

Thanks to Jason Atherton, Irkha Atherton, Tom Sellers, Tom Kitchin, Yuri Kovrizhenko, Tom Brown, Olga Tsibitovskaya, the BGV Charitable Foundation and everyone who supported the event.

All proceeds will go to the Usyk Foundation & With Ukraine. The fight is on the bright side, “Usyk said on his social media page.

It will be recalled that on August 20, Oleksandr Usyk will have a rematch against Anthony Joshua. The match will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia, in the city of Jeddah at the Super Dome arena. Usyk also plans to transfer part of his fee for this fight to help the Ukrainians.
