Athletistic/MMA. Russian-Armenian mixed martial arts fighter Arman Tsarukyan explained how he plans to defeat Brazilian Charles Oliveira. Their fight will take place at UFC 300.
“If you know wrestling and jiu-jitsu and know how to defend yourself, then it’s a completely different game. It’s extremely difficult to strangle someone, especially when I train with top fighters. To choke Oliveira, you need to beat him for 15-20 minutes, and then, when he is simply tired, you can already finish him. In the first two rounds, it is almost impossible to choke a top fighter.
I believe I can do it in the first round and I want to show everyone that I am the best here. My goal is to go to Las Vegas and knock out Charles in the first round to show everyone that I deserve a title shot,” Tsarukyan said as quoted by MMAJunkie.
Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira will face off in three rounds on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Earlier, the president of the promotion, Dana Zeit, announced that the winner of this fight will fight with the champion of the lightweight division, Russian Islam Makhachev, in the summer of 2024.
