Russian fighter Shamil Gasanov After defeating South Korean representative Oh Ho Taek at the ONE Fight Night 18 tournament, he announced that he wanted a rematch with American Garry Tonon.
Gasanov defeated Taek in the tournament’s main bout on Saturday in Bangkok, winning by unanimous decision. After the fight, the Russian said he was poisoned before the fight and that his body “stopped listening to him” after the first round.
“I want to recover first, then I want a rematch with Garry Tonon,” Gasanov said on .
Hasanov lost to Tonon in July 2023, suffering the only defeat of his career. The 28-year-old Russian has nine victories.
