Athletistic/MMA. Nurmagomed Nurmagomedov, the uncle of former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, has commented on rumors that the Russian MMA fighter plans to resume his career. According to the former MMA fighter’s uncle, Khabib has no such plans.

“Trainer Javier Mendez said that Khabib was training with him to prepare for the fight with Leon Edwards? No, he was training for himself. Staying in shape is a sacred matter,” Nurmagomedov quotes Sport-Express.

Earlier, former MMA fighter Chael Sonnen reported that Khabib had resumed training with his former trainer. It was also claimed that the former UFC champion could be gearing up for a fight with Leon Edwards.
