Mixed style Russian fighter Magomed Ankalayev received a bonus of 50 thousand dollars for the best performance of the evening after beating the Brazilian Johnny Walker at the UFC tournament.
Ankalaev, the number three ranked light heavyweight in the UFC, knocked out Walker in the second round. The fight took place as part of the UFC Fight Night 234 tournament in Las Vegas.
A similar bonus was received by American Jim Miller, who defeated Gabriel Benitez by choke, Brazilian Brunno Ferreira, who knocked out Phil Hawes, and American representative Marcus McGee, who defeated Gaston Bolaños by knockout.
Ankalaev has 19 wins, losses and draws in mixed martial arts. Walker had 21 victories and suffered eight defeats.
