The official presentation of the fight between Francis and AJ will take place on January 15 in London
Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou said he intends to knock out the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in their next fight.
“The day is set. There are two months left and if any of them think they will get easy money, it will end very badly for them. If AJ takes the hit Fury took, I can’t guarantee he’ll be able to get back up. I heard he doesn’t have a chin. I’m going to find out.”
Earlier, promoter Eddie Hearn announced that his protégé Joshua would fight Ngannou next in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The official press conference dedicated to the event will be held on January 15 in London.
The fight is expected to take place on March 9. Anthony’s fight with Deontay Wilder was scheduled for this date before the American lost to Joseph Parker.
Ngannou lost a decision to WBC champion Tyson Fury in his only boxing fight. The Cameroonian made a good impression against the current champion title holder, knocking down the “Gypsy King” and inflicting several cuts on the Briton.
