Athletistic/Boxing. On January 14, a boxing tournament took place in Montreal (Canada), where in the main fight the world light heavyweight champion (up to 79.4 kg) according to WBC, IBF and WBO, Russian Artur Beterbiev (19-0, 19 KO), met the Briton Callum Smith (29-1, 21 KO). After the fight, the Russian boxer commented on the result: “You know, it happened again. My coach and my team did a great job. But there was also an element of luck in it. We had several strategies, not just one, and we were ready. The opponent fought well, but one of the strategies worked. I thank my coach, I just am,” Beterbiev said.

During his professional career, Beterbiev fought 20 fights and won 20 victories.
