Saudi organizers want the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight to defend the belts against the winner of the Joshua-Ngannou fight

The Saudi government will host both events in Riyadh

Saudi organizers of the largest boxing matches want to hold an event in which the winners of the fights will meet Oleksandr Usyk – Tyson Fury And Anthony Joshua – Francis Ngannou.

Let us remind you that both events will take place in Riyadh. The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al al-Sheikh, made it clear that he wants to organize the next event with the winners of the previous two.

Earlier, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman announced his desire to establish an eliminator status for the potential fight between Anthony Joshua and American Deontay Wilder to determine the mandatory challenger for the championship title. However, the fight fell through due to the American’s defeat to Joseph Parker. Joshua later agreed to fight Ngannou.

The Usyk-Fury fight will officially take place on February 17. The title of absolute heavyweight champion will be at stake in the fight.

The fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou is planned to take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. An official press conference dedicated to the event is scheduled for January 15 in London.
