The Ukrainian said that he was waiting for news from the promoters
WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchik said that he was preparing for his next fight, which should be a title fight. The Ukrainian does not yet know his future opponent and the location of the event.
“I am an official contender for the championship fight. We are waiting for news from the promoters. I’m preparing and training. There are three options for locations for the fight: Great Britain, USA and Saudi Arabia. It doesn’t matter to me where I box.”
Recall that former undisputed lightweight world champion Devin Haney vacated his belts to move up a division. One of the contenders for the WBO title is Berinchyk. Previously, Denis’ coach Egor Golub spoke about plans to arrange a title fight for Berinchyk with Mexican Isaac Cruz.
The Ukrainian fought his last fight in August against Swede Anthony Yigit. Berinchyk won by unanimous decision and defended his WBO International title.
