The Ukrainian boxer told how he refused to box with a representative of the aggressor country.
Ukrainian heavyweight Vladislav Sirenko will not box with representatives of aggressor countries. As the Ukrainian athlete himself said, he has already been offered a fight with a Russian boxer.
Sirenko refused this, although he could receive a decent fee for entering the ring.
“I understand that the cooperation between an athlete and a manager always begins with some kind of” probing.
The first offer was a fight with Sergey Kuzmin for 200 thousand dollars. But I replied that I would not box with the Russians for any money and I did not want to give them a chance to make money. And I also understand that it probably isn’t like boxing. It’s very difficult to stop yourself psychologically,” said Sirenko in an interview with the National Professional Boxing League of Ukraine.
Note that the Ukrainian fought his last fight in December 2021. Then he defeated compatriot Andrei Rudenko.
Earlier, Vasily Lomachenko confirmed the fight against George Kambosos.
