ONE Friday Fights 48 card will star Russian fighter

The ONE Firiday Fights 48 Friday weekly tournament card will be headlined by Russian Sharif Mazoriev. Alongside him, two other Russians will perform: Khasan Khaliev and Kara-ool Changy.

Sharif Mazoriev, A flyweight (61.2 kg)

In a duel according to the rules of Muay Thai, Mazoriev will meet Kongtorani. The Thai fighter has 65 wins and 15 losses. He twice won the prestigious Muay Thai title at Rajademnen Stadium. Mazoriev, 25 years old, owns the title of champion of Russia and Europe in Muay Thai, as well as the title of master of sports.

Khasan Khaliev, A lightweight (77.1 kg)

35-year-old Khasan Khaliev from Grozny, whose basis is kickboxing, will compete according to MMA rules in the ONE lightweight division. Khasiev is an Honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation, who won the Russian, European and World Kickboxing Championships. He has been competing in MMA since 2014 and has 4 wins and 2 losses. Khaliev represents the Akhmat club. In his first fight in the ONE League, he will face Brazilian fighter Matheus Pereira (5-2). The Brazilian comes from Muay Thai and he had a fight in ONE last November, which he won by TKO in the first round.

Kara-ool Changy, straw weight (56.7 kg)

The card will be opened by a representative of the Wushu Sanda school, 26-year-old Kara Ool-Changy, who fought four fights according to MMA rules and did not suffer a single defeat. Before moving to MMA, Tuvan represented Russia at the World Wushu Sanda Championship. His opponent is MMA fighter Arsenio Balisacan of the Philippines (5-2). Both competitors will enter the ONE Championship ring for the first time.
