Mixed martial arts fighter Khamzat Chimaev has hinted that he plans to participate in the UFC 300 tournament, which will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas.
The fighter announced this on a social network, publishing his own photo with the number 300.
Earlier, an MMA fighter of Chechen origin said he is expected to win a title fight with the winner of the fight between American Sean Strickland and Drikus Du Plessis of South Africa.
The middleweight title fight between Strickland and Du Plessis will take place at UFC 297 in Toronto on January 20.
Chimaev competes in the UFC in two weight categories: up to 77 and up to 84 kg. Currently, the 29-year-old fighter represents the United Arab Emirates; he has previously competed under the Swedish flag.
